Rub-A-Dub-Kitty-In-Tub

My deaf cat appeared today after many days of thunderstorms and I wondered what marvelous places she had been since she was no longer white. Look at her head!!!

Not having this, I tried to talk my husband into bathing the cat - not having that, I ended up bathing the cat. Notice the "look to kill" piercing through the camera at me as if to say "You B!&^h".

After much scrubbing, at last a white cat again. Notice the same "look to kill" stare she's giving me.

She'll get over it!

With Love from Burlington, IA

Peeves that Dogs Have About Humans...

1 Blaming your farts on me..... not funny... not funny at all !!!
2 Yelling at me for barking. Hello, I'm a DOG!
3 Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly whose walk is this anyway?
4 Any trick that involves balancing food on my nose. Stop it!
5 Any haircut that involves bows or ribbons. Now you know why we chew your stuff up when you're not home.
6 The sleight of hand, fake fetch throw. You fooled a dog! Woooo Hoooooooo what a proud moment for the top of the food chain.
7 Taking me to the vet for 'the big snip', then acting surprised when Ifreak out every time we go back!
8 Getting upset when I sniff your guests. Sorry, but I haven't quite mastered that handshake thing yet.
9 Dog sweaters. Hello ??? Haven't you noticed the fur?
10 How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth. You're just jealous. -

Now lay off me on some of these things. We both know who's boss here! You don't see me picking up your poop do you?

Here's Comes the Easter Bunny & Easter Rabbit

Since it's that time of year where children go sit on a giant Rabbit's lap and the yard has small tidbits of brightly color eggs sort of in hiding, it was time to track the Bunny and Rabbit of the farm. I was happy to get pictures of them during daylight hours, having to sneak up on one and tempt the other with oats.
