Wanting a Treat

Roger likes to check out what's in the fridge,  hoping for a treat.

Pierre

Pierre's name fit him, he was a lover not a fighter. He lived part of his life in the city and his last part in the country. People were amazed how big he was. He will be forever missed.

He eats everything

The new rabbit "Roger Doger" is a chewer. He chews on everything. He eats just about anything like a spring roll right out of my hand, or pizza crust sitting on a paper plate on coffee table. Just now walked in to find him eating with Frito....cat food.

Congrats...it's a Girl and Boy

My folks are proud parents of a new little girl and little boy. They became part of the family on Saturday,  June 1. Names aren't set yet but Leeroy and Praline have been mention.

Welcome to the family.

Brisket

I say brisket, you think of what? If you guess a steer being raised by a Cy-Woods FFA member then you're correct.

Newest Farm Member

Roger came to us via Galveston Island Humane Society. When we brought him home, he was instantly welcome by Frito.

Funny, Beloved Toothless

I hate to start the first blog of 2013 with sad news. Tonight we lost Toothless due to a speeding driver. She will be greatly missed, especially by Frito and Sheldon to which she acted as a Mommy to. Toothless wasn't toothless, she found her way to the farm and decided to stay. We called her Toothless because she looked like the dragon off the movie "How to Train Your Dragon".

 

She was a silly cat that would greet you in the least likely places.

 

 

She would always find the best places to take naps.

 

 

She was a Cornish Rex cat - a cat that I had always dreamed of having one day. I'm thankful for the time that she was part of my life and she will never be forgotten.
